An instant ‘Classic’
Detroit Mercy Law students Luca Quenneville (left) and Alec Evans were all smiles before – and after – the inaugural Woodward Classic hockey game played at Clark Park in Detroit on January 20. The event, which pitted teams from Detroit Mercy Law and Wayne State Law School, served as a fund-raiser for the Michigan State Bar Foundation Access to Justice Cam-paign. “We had a great turnout given the frigid temperature,” said Quenneville, a 2L student at Detroit Mercy Law. “UDM won 4-2 and we raised over $5,000 for the Access to Justice Cam-paign!” More photos from the event will appear in the upcoming issue of The Legal News.
