Monique Field-Foster recognized as Michigan Chronicle ‘Women of Excellence’ honoree

Monique C. Field-Foster, a partner with Warner Norcross + Judd LLP, has been recognized as a 2026 Michigan Chronicle “Women of Excellence” honoree.

 Women of Excellence recognizes extraordinary African American women in Southeast Michigan making a lasting impact and inspiring others through their vision and leadership, exceptional achievements and participation in community service. 

This year’s honorees will be highlighted in the official Women of Excellence commemorative magazine, The Book of Women.

Field-Foster is the executive partner of Warner’s Lansing office. She focuses her practice on government advocacy and affairs, advising clients in various industries on navigating all levels of government, including advocacy, policy and regulatory impacts, political and campaign strategy and legislative analysis and drafting. 

Field-Foster has worked for two governors, the state of Michigan, the Michigan Legislature and Michigan State University.

Field-Foster was recognized as a Michigan Super Lawyers honoree in 2025 and was selected for Best Lawyers in America in Government Relations Practice and Government Contracts for 2025-26. She was named among Crain’s Detroit Business’ Notable Women in Law in 2024 and earned a place on Lawyers of Color’s 2023 “Power List” and “Law Firm Leaders 2022” list. 

She was also honored by Michigan Lawyers Weekly as one of the “Influential Women of Law” and by Crain’s Detroit Business as one of “50 Names to Know in Lobbying,” both in 2022. Council of State Government Henry Toll and Big Ten Academic Alliance Leadership named her Fellow.

 She serves on the board of the University of Michigan Health-Sparrow Foundation and previously served on the boards of Peckham, Inc., the National Institute for Lobbying and Ethics and the U.S. Minority Contractor Association. 

Field-Foster is also director of the Citizens Research Council of Michigan and is a member of the National Black Professional Lobbyists Association. She is a Fellow of the American Bar Association and State Bar of Michigan.

 She works to inspire young professionals and women in the legal and political arenas and is deeply committed to mentorship, equity and excellence across Michigan.
