‘Visionary Women of Muskegon’s Past’

Muskegon has a long history of influential women, including those who founded the Lakeshore Museum Center. 

Learn about their lives, highlight their accomplishments, and honor their wisdom. 

Presented by the Lakeshore Museum Center and sponsored by the Friends of the Walker Memorial Library.

The event is set 6 to 7 p.m., Monday, March 23, at the Muskegon Area District Library ?North Muskegon Branch, 1522 Ruddiman Drive North Muskegon.


‘Camille Zamora – Love in Song’
set March 31


 Camille Zamora’s voice has been described as “luminous, transcendently lyrical.” 

On this evening following her appearance with the West Michigan Symphony, she’ll take concertgoers on a journey from the heart: loves songs across five centuries and five continents.

The event is set 7:30 p.m., Saturday, March 31, at The Block.

MMA Spring Break Family Night
set April 9


Join the Muskegon Museum of Art for a free Spring Break Family Night  4 to 7:30 p.m., on Thursday, April 9. 

Wear pajamas or comic book themed outfit and enjoy an evening of art-filled activities, a museum-wide BINGO, and story time in the auditorium. End the night with snacks and an animated movie, seating  on a first-come, first-served basis.

This event is free and open to the public and is presented in partnership with Hackley Public Library.
