As the highly-anticipated Tulip Time Festival in Holland draws near, community members and visitors alike are invited to celebrate the season while supporting the future of the festival through its annual potted tulip sale.
Each 10-inch pot contains 10 tulip bulbs that will bloom into a vibrant surprise color, creating a unique and colorful display. Even better, the bulbs can be reused and replanted for enjoyment in future seasons.
Proceeds from the potted tulip sale directly support Tulip Time programming, helping ensure the continuation and growth of signature experiences and new initiatives.
Contributions help fund immersive exhibits like the Tulip Immersion Garden and Dutch Life on Display.
“Tulip Time is made possible through the support of our community,” Tulip Time executive director Gwen Auwerda said. “The Potted Tulip Sale is a great way for people to play a part in sustaining the festival while enjoying a small piece of it at home.”
Tulip pots are available for purchase now at TulipTime.com. All purchases must be picked up at the City of Holland Parks Department on April 13-14.
