The city of Zeeland will hold its annual disposal day this Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Autumn Hills recycling and disposal facility.
The disposal day is an annual one-day service where city residents may take any unwanted household items to Autumn Hills for disposal. Proof of city residency is required.
Autumn Hills will not accept the following items at the disposal day: liquids (hazardous/toxic/cleaners), paints (latex or oil-based), appliances and those containing freon, tires, railroad ties and hard waste. If you have a question on whether a specific item is acceptable, call Autumn Hills directly at 616-953-5908.
