The Holland Symphony Orchestra (HSO) invites the West Michigan community to an unforgettable evening at Pops at the Pier 2026: From Broadway to the Big Screen.
The beloved annual tradition returns Thursday, June 18, at 7 p.m. at Eldean Shipyard, 2223 S. Shore Dr., Macatawa.
This year’s program celebrates the magic of musical theater and cinema, featuring beloved songs from Les Misérables, The Greatest Showman, Wicked, Chicago, West Side Story, and more.
The orchestra will also perform iconic film scores from Star Wars, Harry Potter, Titanic, and Indiana Jones.
Leading the evening is guest conductor Fernanda Lastra, recipient of the 2024 Women in Classical Music Award. She will be joined by acclaimed vocalist Dee Donasco, a Tennessee favorite known for her soaring voice and dynamic stage presence.
The evening begins early with a pre-concert performance by the Holland Concert Jazz Orchestra at 6 p.m. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy a selection of food trucks and beverages available on-site.
Tickets for the performance are $40 for adults and $12 for students, and may be purchased online at hollandsymphony.org
Founded in 1989 as the Holland Chamber Orchestra and incorporated as a nonprofit in 1990, the Holland Symphony Orchestra has grown into a cornerstone of West Michigan’s cultural life, offering a wide range of concert experiences for the whole family.
The HSO season includes four classical subscription concerts, Holiday Concerts, Link Up Concerts for area fourth-grade students, the Pops at the Pier each June, a free Community Concert in August, youth orchestra concerts, chamber music, and Kids Concerts in partnership with Herrick District Library.
