The 2026 Tulip Time Festival in Holland concluded with another successful year, generating 895,153 visits during the May 1-10 festival, according to visitation data.
“We are incredibly encouraged by the continued visitation and enthusiasm surrounding Tulip Time,” Festival Executive Director Gwen Auwerda said. “Seeing more visitors choose to experience Holland, our Dutch heritage, and the beauty of our tulips speaks to the strength of this community event and the dedication of everyone who helps make it possible.”
This year’s festival featured millions of blooming tulips throughout Holland, along with parades, Dutch Dance performances, the Makers Market, tours, live entertainment, and cultural experiences celebrating the city’s rich Dutch heritage.
Festival organizers noted strong attendance throughout the entire 10-day event, reinforcing Tulip Time’s continued reputation as one of the nation’s premier spring festivals.
The Tulip Time Fireworks celebration and Tulip Time Drone Show Spectacular on May 9 experienced one of the festival’s largest increases in attendance, generating 24,400 visits – a 25% increase over 2025.
The annual fireworks and the addition of the drone show served as a marquee evening attraction for both residents and visitors, drawing families and guests from across the region to celebrate the festival together.
Local businesses throughout Holland experienced increased activity during the festival period, with hotels, restaurants, retailers, and attractions benefiting from the influx of visitors. Tulip Time continues to serve as one of West Michigan’s premier tourism drivers and cultural celebrations.
“The continued success of Tulip Time reflects the passion of our volunteers, staff, sponsors, community partners, and residents who help welcome the world to Holland each spring,” Auwerda said. “We are grateful to everyone who played a role in creating another memorable festival experience.”
Next year’s Tulip Time Festival will be held April 30-May 9. Organizers have already begun planning for next year.
