Attorney Emily Doerr, a new assistant prosecutor, was sworn in May 13 in Judge John McBain's courtroom. A Cooley Law School alumna, who earned her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University, Doerr worked for the Victim’s Rights Unit at the Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office and clerked at the Federal Court level while in law school.
