 Mika Meyers associate elected to board office for Camp Blodgett organization

Scott A. Hughes, an associate of the law firm of Mika Meyers Beckett & Jones PLC, was elected as Vice President of the Board of Directors for Camp Blodgett. 

For over 90 years, Camp Blodgett has been serving young people in Kent County with superior programs. Hughes recently serve as Secretary of the Camp Blodgett board.

In the legal field, Hughes concentrates his practice on civil litigation, as well as environmental and energy and natural resources law. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Grand Rapids and American Bar Associations. Hughes received a bachelor of science degree from Michigan State University, where he graduated with High Honors from the Honors College, and a law degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, summa cum laude, where he served as Articles Editor for the Thomas M. Cooley Law Review.

In addition, Mika Meyers, which has over 40 attorneys and four office locations (in Grand Rapids, Caledonia, Rockford, and Manistee), reports that the firm recently elected the following lawyers to its Management Committee for calendar year 2014:  William A. Horn (Chair), Douglas A. Donnell and Benjamin A. Zainea.
