Smith Haughey Rice and Roegge is pleased to announce that attorney Michael D. Wiese has joined the firm’s Grand Rapids office.
Wiese joined Smith Haughey as a summer associate in 2012. Now, as a practicing attorney, he represents companies and individuals in commercial litigation, appellate law, professional liability and insurance litigation. He is also part of the firm’s Licensed Beverage industry team, a group of attorneys focused on the legal needs of brew pubs, microbreweries, wineries, and distilleries throughout the state.
Wiese earned a J.D. from Indiana University Law School. Additionally, he graduated with an M.A. from Central Michigan University, and received a B.A. from Albion College.
