Warner Norcross & Judd partner Charles N. Ash, Jr., has been named to the Executive Committee of the Grand Rapids Student Advancement Foundation board.
The Grand Rapids Student Advancement Foundation is the strategic fundraising partner of Grand Rapids Public Schools and supports programs in five areas of impact: the arts, the environment, literacy, physical wellness and math/science. Ash, a Creston High School graduate, will serve a two-year term as secretary.
Ash concentrates his practice in litigation and has extensive experience in complex contract and tort litigation in state and federal trial courts throughout the country. He has been recognized as a Michigan Super Lawyer and a Super Lawyer Rising Star.
Ash is a graduate of both Leadership Grand Rapids and Leadership West Michigan.
He received his bachelor’s degree from Calvin College and his J.D. from Stanford University.
