Smith Haughey welcomes two attorneys



Smith Haughey Rice & Roegge announces that attorneys Kimberley P. H. Mitchell and Tiffany R. VanderKolk have joined the firm. Mitchell will join the Holland office and VanderKolk the Grand Rapids office.
Kimberley P. H. Mitchell joins Smith Haughey’s business and real estate law practice group as a shareholder. She focuses her practice on health and welfare benefits, counseling clients on design and maintenance of their self-insured and insured health plans, cafeteria plans, wellness programs, health reimbursements and health savings accounts.

Mitchell graduated from Michigan State University and went on to earn her masters from Case Western Reserve University, then received her J.D. from Cornell Law School. She is licensed to practice law in the state of Michigan.

Tiffany R. VanderKolk practices in matters involving medical malpractice defense. She defends doctors, nurses, hospitals and other health care providers throughout Michigan. Her work experience has provided her with a strong background in the area of litigation. Prior to joining Smith Haughey, Vanderkolk defended clients in civil litigation matters including workplace injuries and employment law disputes.

She graduated magna cum laude from West Virginia Wesleyan College., and earned her J.D. from West Virginia University College of Law. She is licensed to practice law in the Michigan and West Virginia.
