Bodman Grand Rapids attorneys listed in Michigan Super Lawyers 2021

Floyd E. Gates, Jr., listed under Creditor Debtor Rights, has represented financial institutions throughout the country in workout and related litigation along with the investigation of complex fraud schemes involving hundreds of millions of dollars in claims.  He has handled significant real estate related litigation including representing owners, contractors and suppliers in connection with multi-million dollar construction, riparian and environmental claims. 
He has represented insurance carriers  in connection with large coverage and subrogation claims. He has represented financial institutions in connection with complex loan documentation and incentive financing and serves as general corporate counsel for many small and medium sized companies.

Wayne D. Roberts, listed under Tax, focuses on corporate, business and individual tax planning and federal, state and local tax controversies. He has been involved in a majority of the significant legislative, administrative and case law developments in Michigan taxation over the past 20 years. His practice includes all aspects of federal and state tax planning, structuring, and tax litigation. He was a founding member of the task force that created the Michigan Tax Conference, national tax professionals; and chairs the Michigan Chamber of Commerce Tax Committee.

Carrie E.
