Attorney to explore 'Behavioral Health'

As part of its Annual Health Care Webinar Series, Dickinson Wright PLLC will present the webinar "Hotter Topics in Behavioral Health (or, Hot Topics in Behavioral Health Part 2)" on Thursday, August 11, from 1 to 2 p.m.

Speakers will provide an update on  behavioral health including:

• Tele-behavioral health laws

• Emerging trends with sub-acute delivery models

• Parity update: Wit and its progeny

• Good faith estimate provisions of the No Surprises Act

• Federal level policy update

  • CCBHCs

Among the speakers will be Greg Moore, chair of Dickinson Wright's Behavioral Health Care Practice Group, and a practicing health care attorney since 1991. During his  career, he has focused on representing and counseling providers of all types and sizes across all existing and developing segments of the industry.

In January 2009, Moore along with his partner Russ Kolsrud created a Behavioral Health Care Law focused Practice Group in response to the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act of 2008 and the resulting expanded services clients in the Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder space would need.

This webinar will be of particular importance to behavioral health providers and companies, telehealth providers, and all healthcare providers, investors, etc., who are interested in entering the behavioral health sphere.
