Fabulous Friday
The Oakland Mediation Center (OMC) hosted its annual “Fabulous Friday—Finds & Fun…on Wheels” event on Friday, Nov. 7, at Leon and Lulu in Clawson. Among those enjoying the shopping event were (l-r) Denise Smith, Val Gagnon, OMC Communication and Events Supervisor Brianna Haberfield, OMC Board Secretary Dave Baumhart, OMC Executive Director Bonnie Hanes, OMC Board member Joe Gagnon the appliance doctor, Danae Hanes, and Pattie O’Neill. “We’re here tonight at Leon and Lulu in Clawson at Fabulous Friday raising funds so that we can deliver bullying prevention and youth violence prevention programs in schools at little to no cost to the school,” Hanes noted. Guests had the opportunity to shop for a good cause as a percentage of purchases went toward supporting the programs.
