The Federal Court Historical Society for the Eastern District of Michigan will host a luncheon and discussion with retired U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge Steven Rhodes on his 30-year remembrances as a judicial officer including experiences with the city of Detroit bankruptcy.
The lunch will talk place Monday, July 20, at noon at the Doubletree-Fort Shelby Hotel, 525 W. Lafayette Blvd. in Detroit.
Cost is $35 for society members and $43 for non-members. Valet parking is available for $8 or use self-park at surface lots on Lafayette.
