The Federal Court Historical Society for the Eastern District of Michigan will host a luncheon and discussion with retired U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge Steven Rhodes on Wednesday, Sept. 16 at the Doubletree-Fort Shelby Hotel in Detroit.
The event is scheduled to start at noon; the hotel is located at 525 W. Lafayette Blvd.
Rhodes will speak about his 30-year career as a judicial officer including experiences with the historic City of Detroit bankruptcy.
Cost is $35 for historical society members and $43 for non-members.
Valet parking is available for $8 or use self-park at surface lots on Lafayette.
