The Lakeshore Bar Association will host a program on Wednesday, Sept. 23 in Grosse Pointe Park regarding the current state of drone law in Michigan followed by demonstration flights of various drones.
Guest speaker will be David R. Baxter, a 32-year aviation law specialist and former chair of the Aviation Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan.
The event will be held at the Tompkins Community Center in Windmill Pointe Parke, 149920 Windmill Pointe Drive at the foot of Barrington Road.
Doors open at 6 p.m. with the presentation set to begin at 6:15 p.m.
Sandwiches and beverages will be served.
The charge is $10 for members of the association, $15 for non members.
