Wayne Law’s Damon J. Keith Students for Civil Rights will host a panel discussion and screening of the documentary, “13th” on Thursday, March 23.
Following the screening, a group of experts will discuss race and the criminal justice system.
Panelists are Ebonie Byndon-Fields, lecturer for the Criminal Justice Department at Wayne State University; Kefentse Chike, professor of African-American studies at Wayne State University;
and Mark Fancher, staff attorney for the Racial Justice Project of the American Civil Liberties Union of Michigan.
This event will be from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Spencer M. Partrich Auditorium at Wayne State University Law School, 471 W. Palmer St.
The event is free and open to the public.
