The D. Augustus Straker Bar Association will conduct its 24th Annual Trailblazers Award and Scholarship Dinner on Thursday, June 8, at 5 p.m. at the Westin Hotel in Southfield.
This year the association will honor Wayne County Circuit Court Judges Ulysses S. Boykin, Craig S. Strong and Deborah A. Thomas.
The Trailblazers Awards Dinner is the marquee event of the Straker Bar and is used to honor outstanding individuals who are trailblazers in the legal community, as well as to award scholarships to law students dedicated to public service in Michigan.
Cocktails will be served from 5 to 6 p.m. followed by the dinner program.
Ticket price is $75.
