MDTC to host annual awards event

The Michigan Defense Trial Counsel will present the Second Annual Legal Excellence Awards on Thursday, March 8, at The Gem Theatre in Detroit.

The night will include presentations to honorees: Michigan Court Appeals Judge Michael Riordan for the Judicial Award of Excellence; Patrick Geary for the Excellence in Defense Award; Kyle Smith for the Young Lawyer Golden Gavel Award.

The event will also feature the introduction of the MDTC John P. Jacobs Appellate Advocacy Award.

Cost for the event is $85 per MDTC member or $170 per couple; non-members pay $100 per person.
