The Women Lawyers Association of Michigan will hold its Centennial Gala on Friday, April 27 at The Colony Club in Detroit.
The theme this year is Looking Back, Moving Forward. The event will kick off with a black-tie optional reception for past presidents.
The keynote speaker for the evening will be Irin Carmon, a contributing writer to the Washington Post’s Outlook section and the co-author of Notorious RBG: The Life and Times of Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
WLAM also will recognize and honor recipients of annual awards as well as scholarships.
