The Oakland County Bar Association presented “Which Case, Which Court: District, Circuit, or Federal?” on Tuesday, Aug. 20, at the OCBA offices in Bloomfield Hills. This seminar provided an overview of common criminal charges and which court should properly oversee the case. In addition, the speakers offered practice pointers on how to ensure a client’s case is heard in the proper court. Speaking at the seminar were Layne Sakwa of Fried, Saperstein, Sakwa PCand Margaret Scott of Secrest Wardle.
