Thirty-five new student attorneys participated in the Wayne State University Law School Experiential Education Swearing-In Ceremony Jan. 11, taking an oath that enables them to serve as student attorneys representing clients as part of the Wayne Law clinical program. These students will provide legal assistance to individuals and organizations in the community. Five Clinics are offered this semester: Appeal and Post Conviction Advocacy Clinic; Asylum and Immigration Law Clinic; Business and Community Law Clinic; Community Advocacy Clinic; and Legal Advocacy for People with Cancer Clinic. Wayne Law offers eight live-client clinics that provide students the opportunity to work under the guidance of licensed attorneys and handle real cases for real clients.
