You are invited to the Friends Annual Meeting. It is a local presentation and display of "Every Quilt has a Story" by master quilter Connie Dilno of Climax, Thursday, February 22, at 6:30 p.m. at the Lawrence Memorial District Library.
Highlights of the library year will follow, along with a Friends business meeting and election of officers.
The Friends of Lawrence Memorial District Library are looking for more board members and regular members to support our mission of promoting reading and information exploration by assisting the Library. Memberships are available at any level and can be paid at the event or mailed in. 501c3 tax status is in place for deductions and estate planning.
This year has been a transitional year as the library works through its first budget year as a district library. Friends worked in a major way to help inform the public for the district library vote. We look forward to the year ahead to grow together with the Library. Please attend the annual meeting for more Friends information.
