Easter Egg hunts in the Village of Climax, City of Galesburg, and Scotts and Holy Week events are planned at five local churches leading up to Easter, March 31.
Community Easter Egg Hunts
The annual Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by the Climax and Scotts United Methodist Churches, has been scheduled for Saturday, March 30, at 11 a.m. sharp at the C-S Intermediate School Grounds (behind the high school). There will be a free lunch served after the hunt at the Climax United Methodist Educational Building. Participants are asked to bring their own baskets to collect eggs.
The Galesburg Augusta Business and Community Association will be sponsoring an Easter Egg Hunt and fundraiser at Ike Payne Park in the City of Galesburg March 30 at 1 p.m.
The GABCA is also holding an indoor craft and vendor fundraiser April 20 at the G-A Primary School beginning at 9 a.m. The cost is $25 per booth.
There will be a free Easter Egg hunt for teenager and below aged children who attend the 11 a.m. morning service at Prairie Baptist Church Easter Sunday, March 31.
