Getting together to plan ahead
Members of the Privately Held Business Forum, which is part of the State Bar of Michigan’s Business Law Section, met earlier this month to begin planning for the 2025 Business Law Symposium. The seventh annual event is scheduled for February 25 at a location to be determined, according to Troy attorney Mark Rossman, who has served as moderator and an organizer of the event since its inception. “We elected a new co-chair, E. Powell Miller, who replaces Sharan Levine, who has served since 2021,” said Rossman. “Powell and I are now co-chairs. The PHBF also reported that the 6th Annual Symposium at the Guardian Building in February was a great success with attendance over 100 for the sixth year in a row and that it came in well under budget.” Among those on hand for the planning meeting were: (left to right) Linda Oszusk, E. Powell Miller, Kelsey Kanthack, Joe Duffy, Mark Rossman, Hailey Schimmel, Jacob Campbell, Isra Khuja, Paige Serra, Matt Allen and Joe Newman.
