Two Galesburg-Augusta pitchers and South Haven’s starter combined to allow just five hits, but it was three Ram errors that proved to be costly in G-A’s first loss of the season April 26, a 5-0 setback at South Haven.
G-A, now 9-1, committed three errors that led to three unearned runs. The Rams managed just three hits, singles by Ethan Gibson, Colin Hatton and Jaden Fawcett.
Hatton suffered the loss, allowing one earned run, one hit and two walks with one strikeout.

G-A holds off Coloma twice
The Rams broke a 2-2 tie with a four-run fifth inning and went on to post a 9-5 win in the first game of a doubleheader April 25 at G-A and then broke a 1-1 tie with a run in the bottom of the fifth inning for a 2-1 win in the second game.
Starting pitcher Alex Krugh looked sharp on the mound, allowing three hits and no earned runs with three walks and 10 strikeouts over five innings for the win.
Kameron Prince, who had a double and drove in four runs, had two hits to pace G-A at the plate in the first game.
Hatton and Prince, who had a double and two RBI, each had two hits in the second game.
Ethan Gibson scattered four hits and allowed one earned run and three walks to go with five strikeouts over five innings to earn the win on the mound.

G-A erupts in 10th inning to down Delton-Kellogg
After battling to a 0-0 tie through nine innings, Galesburg-Augusta broke through for five runs in the top of the 10th inning and held on for a 5-2 victory over Delton-Kellogg April 23 at Delton-Kellogg.
G-A broke the scoreless tie when Alex Krugh singled, scoring Ethan Gibson, who singled earlier, stole second base and advanced to third on a passed ball.
A Kameron Prince single scored Krugh and then a ground out by Nate Ewert scored Nolan Brewer for what turned out to be the winning run.
Jonah Ranes followed with a two-run single, rounding out G-A’s big 10th inning.
Delton-Kellogg made the game interesting by scoring two unearned runs with two outs before Nolan Brewer struck out a batter with a runner on third base.
Gibson, who had a double, and Krugh, who had two doubles and one RBI, each had two hits for the Rams.
Nolan Brewer earned the win in relief, tossing three innings and allowing four hits, no earned runs, and no walks with three strikeouts.
Starting pitcher Jaden Fawcett pitched a strong game, scattering five hits and allowing two walks with seven strikeouts over seven innings.
