Experts from across the country will address emerging trends in law and policy concerning older adults, including guardianship reform and elder abuse, at the American Bar Association 2024 National Aging and Law Conference, May 16-17 at the University of Miami.
The conference features four plenary sessions and 18 workshops and will also focus on long-term care, legal ethics, capacity, health care decision-making and elder law.
Other sessions will coincide with the conference theme, “The Future of Aging,” and cover the prevention of elder abuse and financial fraud; legal services for the vulnerable and unhoused; and protecting the rights and dignity of adults as they age.
