The Climax Rotary Club completed a community project in Prairie Home Cemetery on June 8.

The local Rotary Club power washed, cleaned and straightened head stones during the project. Two of the head stones that had settled quite a bit but were straightened, were from 1901 and 1905. There were also many large head stones that were completely covered in moss, which the local Rotarians were able to clean and wash.

The Climax Rotary Club hopes to make this project an annual event.

Village of Climax Department of Public Works Manager T.J. Gibson also assisted with the project.
