Mike Morse Law Firm to provide free backpacks to Flint students

The Mike Morse Law Firm, which opened an office in Flint earlier this year, is celebrating 11 years of “Project Backpack” by bringing the event to the Flint area for the first time on Thursday, July 25.

On Thursday from 5-7 p.m., the law firm will distribute 1,000 free backpacks via a drive-thru system on a first come, first served basis in the parking lot of the office at G3500 Flushing Road, Suite 110, Flint. The backpacks will be stuffed with essential school items including pencils, Crayons, scissors, pencil pouches, and sharpeners. Crowd favorite Kona Ice also will be on site to help keep kids cool. All Flint area students, grades K-5, are invited to participate in the Project Backpack event.

“Project Backpack has helped over 300,000 students start the school year off right since its inception in 2013,” said a spokesperson for Mike Morse Law Firm.
