open season next week
Both the Galesburg-Augusta JV and varsity football teams, and JV and varsity volleyball teams will begin play next week.
The varsity football team, which were scheduled to play a scrimmage at Union City August 22, will open the new season on the road at Decatur August 29 at 7 p.m.
The JV football team, which also played a scrimmage at Union City August 22, is scheduled to open the season August 28 at 6 p.m. at home against Decatur.
Both the G-A JV and varsity volleyball teams are scheduled to begin the new season August 27 at home against Comstock, beginning with the JV match at 5:30 p.m.
