Letter to Editor:

To correct D.Miller, I started going to meetings regarding the RR Quiet Zone issue. We wanted it put to a vote and it seemed right away that if we didn’t continue to go to meetings, the council could vote to proceed without getting input and/or a vote from the Village of Climax residents. I believe this is the reason for Miller’s words of “intimidation” and other name calling.

The tree issue came up later after the tree near my house lost two huge branches.  This tree is near a  Climax Village fire hydrant (infrastructure). The question of who was responsible for trees was after checking ordinances. Per “Code of Ordinances 2008” Article 30 Sections 54 thru 57 and finding that the Village Right of Way is 33 ft. from the center of the road. This is the reason why questions and discussions were even brought up about trees!

Also, I am insulted that you, Mr. Miller, would even suggest that I would expect or “know” by voting for a new president that would do my bidding to anything. It is, also, an insult to Bill Lewis.  You should be ashamed of your accusations by disrespecting our characters.
