An adjournment was granted November 7 in the Kalamazoo County 8th District Court for a scheduled Pre-Exam Conference in the Village of Climax homicide case.
Chief Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Jeffrey Williams said at the November 7 conference the parties requested, and were granted, an adjournment.
A Probably Cause Conference has been scheduled for December 4 at 8:30 a.m. in Court 2300.
According to court documents, Adam Gerard Lyons, of 120 North Main Street, Climax, was charged with open murder for the alleged killing of Nichole Doerschler, two weapons and felony firearm charges and one charge of killing/torturing an animal in the third degree at an arraignment hearing October 29.
According to the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office, a female and dog were found deceased in the 100 block of North Main Street October 26.
A Preliminary Examination for December 11 at 1:30 p.m. has also been scheduled in Court 2300.
