Macomb County welcomes new attorneys
Macomb County
Circuit Court Chief Judge James M. Biernat recently continued the
long-standing tradition of swearing in new attorneys to the State Bar of
Michigan. Law students who passed the July bar exam and have ties to
Macomb County gathered in Biernat’s courtroom as their families and
friends looked on. Among the new admittees was Michael Pflueger, who is
pictured with sponsor Dana Freers, president of the Macomb County Bar
Association (MCBA).
Also
being sworn in that day was Suzanna Hernandez, whose sponsor was
Noraline Issak, president of the Women Lawyers Association of
Michigan-Macomb region.
New
attorney Ian Manchester is pictured with sponsor Erin Freers-Cole, MCBA
treasurer. Numerous judges serving on the circuit court bench attended
the ceremony along with officials of the MCBA, which sponsored the
event.
