Macomb County prosecutors office adds second-degree murder charge to driver in deadly car crash

Diamond Glenn was originally charged with assaulting a police officer, a two year felony, after a vehicle crash that killed 69-year-old Christopher Andelean. But after the Warren Police Department finished its investigation the Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office also charged Glenn with second-degree Murder.

On Dec. 21, Warren Police Officers were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident involving a Ford Escape and Chevy Silverado at Mound Rd. and Chicago Rd. Glenn was the driver of the Ford Escape and was allegedly responsible for the crash and under the influence of alcohol.

Late last week, Glenn was arraigned on the additional charges in 37th Warren District Court where Judge Michael Chupa amended the bond from $100,000 to $500,000 cash/surety only.
