Attorneys named to state panels

Claudnyse Holloman, of Waterford, has been reappointed as a court appointed special advocate to the Governor’s Task Force on Child Abuse and Neglect. The president and chief executive officer of Voices for Children Advocacy Center, Holloman is an attorney with Holloman and Holloman Legal Services. She earned a bachelor’s degree in English and political science from Clarke University and a juris doctor from Cooley Law School. Her two-year term expires December 31, 2027.

Gail Alpert, of West Bloomfield, has been appointed to the Michigan Science, Technology, and Mathematics Education Advisory Council for a term expiring September 30, 2028. Albert is president and chair of FIRST in Michigan, promoting FIRST robotics and other programs across the state. Albert, who also is an associate broker with Max Broock Realtors, holds a bachelor of arts from Michigan State University and a juris doctor from University of Detroit Merch School of Law.

Nicholas Gable, of Ann Arbor, has been appointed to the Michigan Developmental Disabilities Council for a term expiring on September 30. A senior attorney at Disability Rights Michigan, Gable holds a bachelor’s degree in ancient history and languages from the University of Michigan, and a juris doctor from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law.
