Seven C-S wrestlers place at
MyWay State Finals event
Seven members of the Climax-Scotts MyWay wrestling team placed at the MyWay State Finals.
Malcolm Smith (2006-2008 birth year), wrestling in the 218-pound weight class, was a state champion at the high school age level.
Other placers at the high school level included Cooper Dinse (2009-2010), in the 288-pound weight class, with a third place and Gixxer Blair (2009-2010), in the 168-pound weight class, with a sixth place finish.
Tyler Bradley (2010), in the 107-pound weight class, placed fifth in the middle school age group.
Placing in the Youth/Elementary age group was Bentley West (2017), in the 55-pound weight class with a second place finish and Henry Clore (2016) in the 72-pound weight class, with a sixth place finish.
Paisley Vandyke (2018), wrestling at 40 pounds, placed fifth in the girls division.
The top four placers are eligible for free entry into the Nuway Nationals in Grand Rapids April 11-13.
Malcolm Smith, Bentley West, Henry Clore, Braiden West and Tyler Bradley plan on attending.
