Hadassah Greater Detroit’s Attorneys and Judges Professional Council will present “Dinner & Conversation with Federal Judge Mark A. Goldsmith” on Thursday, June 19, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Hadassah House in West Bloomfield.
Attendees will enjoy a dairy dinner followed by a conversation with U.S. District Court Judge Mark A. Goldsmith, Eastern District of Michigan. He will share his insights on serving on the federal bench.
Goldsmith was nominated to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan by President Barack Obama on February 4, 2010, and unanimously confirmed by the Senate on June 21, 2010. Goldsmith received his undergraduate degree in economics in 1974 from the University of Michigan and his law degree in 1977 from Harvard Law School.
