The Eastern District of Michigan Bar Association presented the second iteration of its Women’s Series with “How to Survive and Thrive in an Uncivil Landscape” on Wednesday, May 21, at the offices of Kerr Russell in Detroit. This topic emerged from conversation at the first event where the lack of civility in the practice of law came up as one of the most dissatisfying aspect of many women’s careers in the law. Among those taking part in the May 21 discussions were (l-r) Tina Gray of Tina S. Gray PC; Jennifer Salvatore and Nikisha Chaney of Salvatore, Prescott, Porter, & Porter; U.S. District Court Judge Brandy McMillion, Eastern District of Michigan; U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge Lisa Gretchko, Eastern District of Michigan; Michigan Court of Appeals Judge Anica Letica; retired Justice Maura Corrigan; and Margaret Debler of Rosati, Schultz, Joppich, & Amtsbuechler PC.
