Mt. Clemens woman arraigned on charges of possession of child sexually abusive material.
Macomb County Prosecutor Peter Lucido has announced that a Mt. Clemens woman was arraigned Monday on multiple charges of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material and using a computer to commit a crime.
It is alleged that in February of this year, 29-year-old Jasmine Ellise Rix was in possession of child sexually abusive material and that she allegedly shared the material from her computer.
Rix was arraigned Monday in 41B District Court in Clinton Township and bond was set at $100,000.
“Those who possess this material contribute to a cycle of abuse, and we will not hesitate to pursue charges to protect vulnerable children and seek justice on their behalf,” Lucido said.
