Helping foster kids was on the minds of everyone who gathered recently for Cocktails for a Cause, an event presented by the Woman Lawyers Association of Michigan — Macomb region. Among those attending the event at Filippa’s in Shelby Township were (left to right): Linda McGhee, WLAM-Macomb regional representative; Noraline Issak, WLAM-Macomb immediate past president; Nina Lotarski, treasurer; Jen C. Smith, president; Alicia Golm, vice president; Jennifer Lindquist, secretary; and Shannon Zabolotny, regional representative. Proceeds from the event benefitted Friends of Foster Kids.
