G-A Superintendent Dr. Lindsey Newton said the district finalized collective bargaining agreements in July.
She said the board will consider a two-year agreement that gives G-A teachers a 3% raise for the 2025-2026 school year.
The G-A superintendent adds the district finalized secretary and clerk contracts and paraprofessional contracts for the next two years.
The Crescent will attempt to provide more details after the board approves the contracts.
“I am extremely proud of the collaboration amongst all of our staff at Galesburg-Augusta. It’s said that we are a Ram Family, meaning we have trust, integrity and care for one another in all the work that we do in G-A. Go Rams,” said Newton.
