Prairie Baptist Church, located at 11210 East PQ Avenue, Scotts, will be hosting a Homegrown Agriculture Appreciation Day August 17.

Participants can bring their equipment Saturday, August 16, from 1-3 p.m. There will be 24/7 security.

The event August 17 features a free lunch at 12:30 p.m. and an outdoor concert with Calvin Allen at 1:30 p.m. Awards and prizes for longest family owned farm, most diverse in commodities, oldest farmer, and youngest farmer will follow the concert.
