Warren man arraigned on second-degree murder charge

Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido announced that a 20-year-old Warren man was arraigned on charges related to the shooting death of his housemate.

It is alleged that on Thursday, Oct. 2, Warren police were dispatched to the residence of Kayvon Briscoe-Hall regarding a shooting.

When police arrived, Briscoe-Hall was outside the home and he was detained.

The police went in the home and found Biscoe-Hall’s 63-year-old housemate bleeding and laying unresponsive on the floor.

Life-saving measures were given until the Warren Fire Department arrived and transported the man to Henry Ford Macomb Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Briscoe-Hall was arraigned Monday before Judge Suzanne Faunce at the 37th District Court in Warren, MI on following charges:

• Homicide – Murder – Second-Degree, a life or any term of years felony
• Weapons - Felony Firearm, a 2-year felony, consecutive to main charge

Faunce denied bond and Biscoe-Hall was remanded to the Macomb County Jail. A probable cause hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 14.
