The theme is, "Technology, National Security and the Law: Keeping Pace with Innovation.”
On Thursday, Nov. 13, David Ignatius, Washington Post columnist, will give the keynote address at 12:45 p.m. on “Technology, Intelligence and a World in Turmoil.” There will be a fireside chat at 6 p.m. EST with Sandra Joyce, vice president, Google Threat Intelligence Group, Google Cloud. She will speak on “The Future of Cybersecurity.”
ABA President Michelle Behnke will give welcome remarks on Friday, Nov. 14, at 8:45 a.m. The keynote address will be delivered at 1 p.m. by Christian Brose, president and chief strategy officer, Anduril Industries on “Arms, AI and the Future of Defense.”
This year’s conference is dedicated to the memory of Judge William H. Webster (1924-2025), former director of the FBI and the Central Intelligence Agency and counselor to the ABA Standing Committee on Law and National Security (1991-2025). A tribute in Webster’s honor will be led by Harvey Rishikof, counselor, ABA Standing Committee on Law and National Security, on Friday at 3 p.m. EST.
