Gardner will receive the 2025 Sharon L. Corbitt Award, which honors exceptional service and leadership in improving the legal response to domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault and stalking.
Parker will receive the 2025 Judith S. Kaye Award, which recognizes judicial officers who demonstrate deep understanding of domestic and sexual violence and exemplary leadership in developing effective courtroom and judicial responses to these issues.
They will be honored during the Celebrating Champions of Justice and Service reception and awards ceremony at Baker McKenzie, where ABA President Michelle Behnke will give a video welcome at the reception, and the ABA Pro Bono Publico Awards will be presented by the ABA Standing Committee on Pro Bono and Public Service.
The Commission on Domestic and Sexual Violence advances access to justice for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking by engaging the legal profession through training, resources and policy initiatives. \For more than three decades, the commission has worked to strengthen the capacity of attorneys and legal systems to respond effectively to gender-based violence.
