Shelter benefits from WLAM outing
The Women Lawyers Association of Michigan-MAcomb Region recently held its Fall Golf Mixer at St. Clair Shores Golf Club in St. Clair Shores. The event was billed as one featuring a fun day of golf, networking and community spirit — all while supporting Turning Point, an organization in Macomb County that helps victims of domestic violence, sexual violence or human trafficking. The donations from the event were given to Turning Point so it could hold a Halloween party for families in the shelter. Among those enjoying the golf outing were (from left): Alecia Golm, WLAM Macomb vice president; Jen Smith, president; and Nina Lotarski, treasurer.
