Last Saturday, St. Clair Shores Police were called to a location where a body was laying at the end of a driveway. The deceased had injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle.
It is alleged that Holt struck the victim while backing out of her driveway. The victim was 76-year-old Mary Hulswit, a St. Clair Shores resident.
Holt was arraigned Tuesday before Magistrate Genevieve Taylor in the 40th District Court in St. Clair Shores on the following charges: Failure to Stop at Scene of Accident – When at Fault
– Resulting in Death, a 15-year felony and Felony – Commission with Motor Vehicle.
Taylor set Holt’s bond at $100,000 cash/surety/10%.
Holt faces a probable cause hearing on November 14.
