Holiday events in Climax and Scotts scheduled for December 6 & 7

Plans for Christmas in Climax, December 6, and Caroling on the Corners in Scotts, December 7, are nearly complete.

The Christmas in Climax event will begin with the Climax-Scotts High School Band Instrumental Ensemble featuring C-S students and the C-S Choir from  5-7 p.m.

There will be refreshments and children’s activities at the Peace Community Christian Church at 134 North Main Street.

While the time has not been confirmed yet, Santa Claus is scheduled to be at the Lawrence Memorial District Library along with other youth activities.

The lighting of the Community Christmas tree is scheduled to take place at 6:30 p.m.

The Caroling on the Corner event in Scotts is scheduled to take place December 7 from 6-8 p.m. at Lulu’s Café.

The Scotts Community Christmas tree will be lit at a time to be determined.

Santa Claus will welcome visitors and refreshments will be provided inside Lulu’s Café.
